Critical Board & Lead Positions

The Bowman PTO Executive Board is the voting body of the Bowman PTO, with each member ideally serving a two year term. We look to members of the executive board to fill one of the Co-President roles in the future. The executive board is an integral part of ensuring that we can enrich the Bowman School Community financially, through volunteership, and other community support.

Serve on an event team to support the planning lead in executing on a fundraising and/or community event for the school year. Our leads work hard in planning each and every event and need all the support we can provide!

In-School Volunteering
In-school volunteering is a great opportunity to get a sneak peek at your student's school day, sometimes in the classroom, sometimes not.

The PTO provides additional support for certain school events through out there year. Field Day and the Student Art School requires a bit more planning and day of support, while the school concerts support involves ordering/organizing bouquets (for the lead teacher) and carnations (for student performers) for delivery day of.

5th Grade Activities Committee

It is a Bowman tradition that our fifth grade students are gifted items and unique experiences to commemorate the conclusion of their elementary schooling. These may include a unique field trip, a class t-shirt and yearbook for every student, a moving on ceremony, a class gift, and a year-end social for students and their families. Parents of 5th graders, volunteer with the 5th Grade Activities team and to commemorate this final year at Bowman!

Volunteers Needed
Support the VP of 5th Grade Activities in organizing fundraising and the moving on ceremony, creating the yearbook and 5th grade t-shirts, or any other general support needed during the year.
